Product: HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One

HP prompted me to download the latest software for the printer as they said mine was out of date.  I did that and now the two sided scan shortcut I had set up on my computer is gone.  When I try to create a new scan shortcut there is no option to create a two sided shortcut.

 

As a result of this sofware update I now have a failed windows upate.  It says windows update encountered an unknown error and the error code is 800F020B.  The update is Hewlett-Packard - USB - 5/30/2017.  I don't know if this is linked to the scanning issue but I need to be able to scan two sided again.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Try using this standalone scan software, it has the Page sides : 2 sided (manual) option

 

Scan Extended 2 sided (manual).jpg

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
