I actually upgraded to OS 10.15 Catalina and now my scanner stopped working.  When I scan a document it gets stuck on "preparing to scan."  It's connected via wi-fi.  All the forums say to reinstall the drivers, but when I try to install from HP Easy Start it says it can't find the driver for the printer.  Installing an older version says my Mac isn't compatible. 

 

Any solutions?  Where are the drivers for this printer.  It's four years old, but the drivers should still be available!

Please try using HP Smart for now:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPSmart3.6.pkg

 

Follow for any updated drivers on HP Support anytime soon.

For now, you should be able to scan using HP Smart or Apple Image Capture:
