We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

We have not been able to configure scan to network folder with hostname. ( Picture 1 )

When we attempt to verify Access, we get the message: The operation failed. Please verify your configuration and try again. ( Picture 1 )

And when we verify using ip, I get a message. The Operation was completed successfully. ( Picture 2 )

 

The way we have done for Picture 1 :

  • Update Frimware = Does not solve the problem
  • Change hostname = Does not solve the problem
  • Turn on smb 1 = Does not solve the problem

 

Maybe someone can explain in ( Picture 1 ) why it can't be configured using a hostname ?

 

Scratching my head.  Any ideas ?

Simply stated your DNS (domain name service) is either not working, does not exist or doesn't contain a proper entry for the server.
