I have the same problem of ChridiBY: the scan function is not working anymore on my Mac; firmware is (MCP2CN2336AR) installed; Printer Model is HP OfficeJet Pro 6970.

Many are reporting that firmware update MCP2CN2336AR on 2023-09-06 broke scanning on MacOS.  Can HP confirm that a fix is in the works?
