Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased a 7740 printer and it came with Readiris Pro 14.  I install ed the HP software and then attempted to install the Readiris software.  The installation went fine until Readiris requested that I activate the software.  It then asked for a product code to activate.  According to the screen the product code should be on the either the disk or disk sleave, one was not provided.

 

Suggestions?

Was the the FULL feature software installed successfully?

 

If it was installed successfully and then followed by the ReadIris installation, there should not be any issues with the activation code.

 

This resource shows that it is possible (different product but with Readiris 15 installed AFTER the fullfeature software was installed)

 

 

Download and install full feature software

 

 

Download and install Readiris Pro software

 

If needed, uninstall the HP software first and then install the ReadIris software.

 

If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:

How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software

Though I downloaded new copies yesterday, I downloaded new copies this afternoon of each program and re-installed them.  This time it worked perfectly.  I have tested the program and it works great.

 

I do not know what happened differently today.  Oh well.
