How do you get rid of the Red line from top to bottom close  within two inches from the right side.  I have HP on line and they had be clean glass & rollers etc.  NOTHING.. The concern is Scanning or printing from the ADF.  Printing from the Glass or scanning from the glass is perfect?  HELP

99 percent of defects that only occur when scanning from ADF are caused by some sort of debris. Take a copy with the defect and lay it down rightside up next to the glass and it should point to the area. Using a very bright flashlight and looking at an angle will sometimes reveal tiny bits of debris like adhesive from a sticky note that are not instantly obvious. Depending on your machine model, some use a mylar strip over the ADF glass and this can become damaged and refract light causing defects.
