I have (3) different, (but the same models) HP Printers set up on my computer, for our satellite offices.  Each printer has been set up separately, but correctly.  I know have 3 different scanner drivers to pick from.  I need to be able to name each of them, (ie MN office, WI office, IL office) so that I know which one to use.  How can I rename them?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Go to Control Panel > View Devices  and printers > Right click on the printer > under "General" change the printer name

Hope that helps!

I appreciate the help Greenturtle!

I am not having trouble with the naming of my Printers.....I am having trouble with the naming of my Scanners.

Any other advice or help would really be appreciated.  It seems like this should be an easy "ask"....but it's proving to be quite the challenge.

Hi @Mark_P2

Thought by renaming the printer, it would appear on the "scanners" so you can identify which scanner based on the printer description.

Do not know of any way to just rename the scanner.

Thanks.
