Dear HP member, I forgot my password for my Scanjet Pro N4600fnw1 ([Personal Information Removed]) . Can you help me reset it?

Meanwhile found this previous community answer from Nov'23, that in summary claims that reset of WebJet is not possible, but has yet to be confirmed or disconfirmed by HP staff

 
 
Due to the absence of solution nor support, my scanner is going back to the supplier for a full refund. Not a great experience but despite the financial burden, I hope HP is able to make and support good scanners.
 
if you're reading this post, it's probably too late, but I do not think setting/changing an admin password on the N4600 is a good idea.

Does anyone else have an idea how to get this kind of support?

 

I need to find out how to do a factory reset, or password reset on my HP  Scanjet Pro N4600fnw1. Oddly HP forgot to mention this in the manual.
