Roller feeder cleaning

Doctor Fix message says I need to clean document roller feeder.  I don't know how.

Your going to want to open the top of the document feeder so you can see the rollers that grab the paper,  Clean them off with a wet cloth then rub down until  dry,  Your rollers might need to be replaced as this is not a permanent fix

Thank you so much for your reply.  I will try it.  I'm 70 years old and don't really understand a lot about printers, etc.  The last time I consulted the forum, I became so frustrated that I just went out and bought a new printer.  I can't keep doing that, so I'm going to try to locate the rollers and clean them.  Thank you again.

Here is a link that might help,  Usually they are very easy to locate just look to where you would place the paper on the document feeder usually the door to it just lifts up,  and the rollers are right there,  I tried to find the rollers themselves as a part but cant locate them.  Hope this helps

I finally found the rollers and cleaned them.  Hopefully this will resolve my issue.  Thank you again.

I just had the same problem. I finally used 'New Skin. that I use for bowling.Only one drop per roll,
