SCAN AS JPG

Hi,

Can you show us what you see on the Scan Extended?  There should be various shortcuts such as Save as PDF, Save as JPEG etc.  Example shown below.

Please show us what Scan Extended User Interface you are getting.

Have you installed the HP Scan Extended?

If you have, do show us what was installed and where you are able to Scan to JPEG.

Did you get this problem resolved? I have exactly the same - will only scan to JPG no options offered ( have done hours of downloading switching off and on installing and reinstalling HP doctoring etc etc - its got to be something in Windows 10/settings as it was OK before but what!!!!!

Try this alternative scan software:

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

Dear greenturtle as rodmur said he did and it didn't make any difference. Scan doctor says all is well and doesnt sort it

We're suggesting to try an alternative Scan solution.

Not the Print and Scan Doctor.

Can you try if it helps to resolve your issue with the alternative Scan Solution
