We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I CANNOT SCAN TO PDF.   "SCAN UNSUCCESSFUL" 

"THE SCAN COULD NOT BE COMPLETED. MAKE SURE THAT THE SCANNING SOFTWARE HAS BENN INSTALLED AND CONFIGURED ON YOUR COMPUTER, AND THEN TRY AGAIN."

WHILE EXECUTING THE "HP PRINT AND SCAN DOCTOR 5.5.2", THE "DRIVER CHECK" DID NOT PASS.

I HAVE TRIED VIRTUAL AGENT AND THEIR SUGGESTIONS DID NOT WORK. 

I HAVE DISCONNECTED THE PRINTER POWER CORD AND RESTARTED THE COMPUTER.

I HAVE RECONNECTED THE NETWORK SETTINGS.

I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE HP SMART.

NEED HELP ON THIS MATTER!

@MARK20091, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to scan. To assist you better, are you trying to scan from the printer screen or the computer screen?

 

What happens when you use the HP Smart app to scan?

For more info on scanning, refer to - How to scan with an HP printer

 

Alternatively, you may use the HP Scan Extended app to scan and check if that helps.

Click here to download the app. 

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
