TRYING TO SCAN FROM HP OFFICEJET PRO 9010 TO MAC. HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES BUT LATELY I'VE BEEN RECEIVING A MESSAGE THAT I NEED TO GO TO THE WEBSITE AND IT MAYBE HIDDEN BEHIND ANOTHER WINDOW. I CAN'T SCAN FROM THE PRINTER TO THE COMPUTER EITHER. IT SAYS TO GO TO THE COMPUTER TO USE HP SMART, WHICH I HAVE, AND IS WHERE ALL MY ISSUES START. 

I DON'T KNOW IF I CANNOT GET THE RIGHT SOFTWARE DOWNLOADED? DO A FACTORY RESET??? OR WHAT I NEED TO DO TO HANDLE MY ISSUE. I JUST WANT TO SCAN A FILE FOR IN-HOUSE USE ON MY COMPUTER AND NOT MAKE IT AN ONLINE THING. 

IS THERE SOFTWARE FOR THIS LIKE THERE USED TO BE TO JUST BE ABLE TO USE YOUR PRINTER FOR WHAT IT IS INTENDED TO BE USED AND THE REASON YOU BOUGHT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHY DOES IT WORK JUST FINE UNTIL SOMEBODY CHANGES SOMETHING IN AN UPDATE TO WRECK THE WHOLE THING???
