Error message says: The printer is currently configured with a Domain Name System (DNS) server address which does not allow the DNS server name to be confirmed. On most networks this can prevent the printer from accessing Web pages over the internet.

I did what the instructions said to do. Unplugged the Wireless Router, waited for it to reboot
Shut down the printer, and restarted it. Waited until it connected to wireless and tried another SCAN - didn't work
Earlier I had tried unplugging the printer, That didn't fix it either.
SCAN has been working fine until today. Today my wife tried the SCAN. Two of three pages scanned to her email OK, but the third page jammed in the top feeder. After that, the SCAN function no longer worked

I do not understand why that fix worked when turning the printer OFF and unplugging it didn't fix it. I can only guess that whatever DNS settings are saved in the Printer EEPROM, don't get changed when you unpowered the printer, but they get re-written into EEPROM when you do the WI-FI OFF-to-ON. I assume the Wi-Fi OFF then ON writes over the original DNS settings that were saved in EEPROM (presumably corrupted somehow - perhaps by a power supply transient that occurred during the paper jam).
The fix was sort of like the difference between Re-Starting a computer vs Powering it OFF. But I didn't expect that it would work that way

The wireless connection is the same as it's been for years to the our home network Apple Airport Extreme 802.11 ac which connects to Spectrum Router and Modem in the basement. No changes to anything in a long time

Confirm that you are scanning to email. If that is the case and your email provider is an external provider then it is possible that they may be having issues and this is coincidence that it happened at the same time as a paper jam. One thing to try would be to change the secondary DNS entry on the printer to 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS service) and see if that resolves the issue.

I was able to fix the issue by doing the following.
After the Router and Printer actions I took in the original post above:
1. Selected the Wireless Icon on the Home screen
2. Selected the Settings Icon on the Wireless Summary screen
3. Selected Wireless Settings on the Wireless Connected screen
4. Turned Wireless OFF on the Wireless Settings screen.
5. Selected the Home button and returned to the Home screen
6. Repeated steps 1 thru 3.
7. Repeated Step 4 except turned Wireless back ON
8. Selected Home screen.
I then placed a document on the glass, and selected Scan to email. It worked fine.
