Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

Usually when I scan a document, I have no issues. I recently been trying to scan a document to the email that is already on file on the printer. Once I click on the email it says connecting for a few seconds, then a message pop up that says Network connection error.  Check network and try again. I have tried restoring settings and that did not work. I've checked the WIFI connection, and everything is good. The blue light on the printer is solid which indicates connection.

Hi @Cocoa03,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you were previously able to scan documents directly to your saved email address, but now the printer displays "Connecting" followed by a "Network connection error. Check network and try again" message. You've also confirmed that the printer appears to be connected to Wi-Fi.

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the exact model name of your HP printer?

Need help finding your product number? We've got you covered! Check out this handy guide:

In the meantime, please try the following:

  1. Restart the printer and router: Turn off the printer, restart your Wi-Fi router, wait until the network is fully restored, and then turn the printer back on.
  2. Verify the printer's internet connection: A solid wireless light confirms connection to the local Wi-Fi network, but the Scan to Email feature may also require access to online services. Check whether other web-connected features on the printer are working.
  3. Remove and re-add the saved email address: If the option is available, delete the existing Scan to Email profile and configure it again.
  4. Check for printer firmware updates: Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

Please let us know the printer model and whether you receive the same network error when using any other web-connected feature on the printer.

We'll be happy to continue assisting you.

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi

I'm an HP Employee.
