Trying to scan using the flat bed and I keep getting error message- "No item detected in Automatic Document feeder."  Have had the printer for years connected to MAC, never had this message before. Do not want to use ADF!

I've deleted and re-added the printer.  Deleted and re-installed the HP Easy Scan software I have been using for a long time.  This happened after upgrading to Catalina 10.15.1 last week!
