SMTP Configuration Succeeds, yet "error occurred when sending the e-mail" on scan to email.

I have set up "Default SMTP Configuration" via web interface and tested those and received the test message successfully. Yet when I try to scan to email I get "An error occurred while sending the e-mail". How can i troubleshoot this kind of issue? Can I find more detailed information somewhere?

• Create and use an App Password for any / every profile you create.
• If the App Password stops working, Consider:  In your email security, switch off using 2FA (2-step verification) -- Wait a bit or exit the security section and then go back into that section -- Reinstate (enable) 2FA (2-step verification) and create a new App Password.
