Scan to email works perfectly last week and now it is giving me 'SMTP server or certificate error' Event 44.10.0C and 'SSL failed. Certificate invalid' Event 44.A0.A1. Now I checked the SMTP infos on webserver. Nothing changed. My DNS is 8.8.8.8. I don't know what is the problem. But the test function on EWS works perfectly. It sends. But when trying on the actual printer. Doesn't work.

Yes, I am also having the same issue. It was working for the past 2 years all of a suddent 2 weeks ago it was not working with the error SSL failed. Certification Invalid. Erro code 44.A0.A1

Contacted HP, they dialed into my printer but was unable to resolve the issue. Used the CHAT support, it was bad as the connection keeps dropping and I had to re-register over again and being asked the same questions over and over agian. Requested for an email address for easier communication but was ignored. Till now the issue is not resolved and no reply from HP.

Printer Model : HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525

Testing done

1. Email address and password - checked

2. SSL ports - checked

3. Network connection - checked

NOTE: The same email ID is used on another copier (Toshiba) and it is working greate.

Hope HP will be able to revert as it is affecting our operations.

I got mine working, I changed the Primary DNS to 204.244.0.3 and Secondary DNS to 204.244.0.4, Unchecked the 'Validate certificates for outgoing server connections'. and so far it is working for me.
