Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan

I am querying printers and scanners over the network using a PowerShell script. All printers and the 8500 fn2 scanners correctly return values for the following OID requests:

$model = $snmp.Get('.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.3.1')
$Description = $snmp.Get('.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0')

However, the older scanners, such as the 8500 fn1, 4500 fn1, and 4500 fn2, do not respond to the requests at all.

Could you please advise on how to formulate a correct SNMP request for all HP scanners (just obtaining the model or S/N would be sufficient)?
----------------------------

Опрашиваю принтеры и сканеры по сети скриптом PowerShell. Принтеры (все) и сканеры (только 8500 fn2) корректно возвращают значения на запрос по данным OID:

$model = $snmp.Get('.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.3.1')
$Description=$snmp.Get('.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0')

но более старые сканеры 8500 fn1, 4500 fn1, 4500 fn 2 никак не отвечают на запрос.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как сформировать корректный запрос по SNMP для всех сканеров HP (достаточно получить модель или S/N)?

Hi @Haski93,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To query HP scanners over SNMP and retrieve model or serial number information, you'll need to understand that different models and generations of devices might have different Object Identifiers (OIDs) or might not support certain OIDs at all. Here's how you might approach the issue:

Please help us with the Printer serial number or the product number on a private message for further assistance.

Here is the link to find the product number:- Click here
