HP Smart software setup to save digital faxes as PDF to network share.

Received an error on a fax which then prevented all further faxes not to be saved but the one with the error saves every 5 minutes.  Where does the HP Smart software store these temporary files?  I see in the Digital Fax setup a message stating a digital fax was not saved but even though I click Save File, it comes back over and over.  I have cleared the faxes from memory on both machine and software.  Restarted all devices and still with the digital fax setup, the same fax is saved.

Firmware TETONXXXXN002.2310A.00.  MFP says it is up to date, but this is not the firmware listed on the support site for the MFP428.  Noticed a similar issue reported for another scanner (MFP479) on this forum and user was told to downgrade but they could not find the previous version of the firmware.
