I used to be able to scan a document and save it to any folder I wanted to in iCloud. I was using an OfficeJet pro 8600. Then it stopped leting me drill down to subfolders when i went to save it. I could save to the Desktop, then had to open a Finder window and drag it to the subfolder it belonged in. iIjust bought a new OJP 6975, and installed a newly downloaded EasyScan app. Same problem. There wasn't a problem till recently. It may have been when I upgraded to Mojave, not sure.

Once you select iCloud drive the subfolders should be displayed on the right hand pane. You may click the desired subfolder and click Choose to save the scanned item to that folder.

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I believe we can save the scanned document directly to iCloud drive using HP Easy Scan. Let's try these steps:
1.) Open HP Easy Scan.
2.) Click Scan. Wait for the scan to complete.
3.) Click Send and then select Folder...

4.) Click Where: and select Other...

5.) Click iCloud Drive and then click Choose.
Let me know how it goes!

Maybe I should have been clearer. I was always able to save to a specific subfolder in iCloud Drive. Your solution only enables me to save to iCloud, but not any subfolders within it.
Maybe I'm missing something?
