@Barefoot21111, Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Hp 4301fdw printer.
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!
To scan multiple pages into a single file using your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdw printer and save it to a USB device, follow these steps:
-
Prepare the documents: Load the pages you want to scan into the document feeder. Ensure pages are face up and aligned properly with the guides.
-
Access the scanning options: From the printer's color touchscreen control panel, navigate to the Scan feature.
-
Select the Scan to USB option: Touch the option to scan directly to a USB device.
-
Set up your scan:
- Choose the file format you want for the scanned document, typically PDF for multi-page documents.
- Set any additional scan options as needed, such as resolution or color settings.
-
Start scanning:
- Insert the USB flash drive into the walk-up USB port on the printer.
- Begin the scan by selecting the Scan button.
-
Manage pages: If your document consists of more pages than the feeder can hold at once, the printer might prompt you to add more pages. Follow the on-screen instructions to add additional pages and continue scanning.
-
Finish and save: Once all pages are scanned, check the preview if required, and save the file on your USB device by selecting the appropriate save option.
I hope this helps!
Take care and have an amazing day!
