I'm using the HP 9025 via the HP Smart program on MAC OS. I have not been able to find a way to batch scan a set of documents and have them save to separate .pdf files. For example, scanning 5 sheets of paper to yield 5 separate files. 

Previously I used the HP Scan program with an older HP  printer/scanner and was able to achieve this. I tried to revert back to that system(HP Scan) to get the separate files, but now that program is giving me fits (which is likely a separate issue). Can anyone provide guidance on how to save separate .pdf files scanned via the HP Smart program, instead of all of the scanned pages saved to a single file?

Hi,

That cannot be done with HP Smart.

 

You may scan using Image Capture too, by unchecking the Combine box, also, HP Easy Scan allows scanning to separate PDF files within the Save options:
