Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Officejet Pro 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased new computers; attempting to setup Scan to Network Folder.

Keep getting error message "Error. Your printer cannot connect the server. Press "Edit" to correct server name and address. "

Printer is hard wired to network. We can scan using printer utility just not from printer. When we added the computer which recently was replaced by two new ones, we had some difficulty setting up the Scan to Network Folder option. We were able to do it though, however do not seem to be able to duplicate it witht the new computers.

I have power cycled the printer as suggested on other forum posts. I have access to EWS in which I have setup new admin password and even disabled it. Within the EWS I restored Network settings. I have rerouted the folder to which I want the scans to go to. I have changed sharing options on those files/folders. I have deleted and recreated the share path with all different combinations of settings I can figure out. None of this has seem to fix the issue.

Please help!!

Hi,

Please ensure that SMB1.0 is enabled on your PC, it might be disabled and require for the printer to connect.

From the Control Panel select Uninstall a Program.

Press on Turn Windows features on or off.

Ensure that SMB 1.0 / CIFS File sharing is checked with a V mark (with all 3 sub options checked), if not expend it and ensure all its 3 suboptions are cehcked, then follow the steps on screen and reboot your PC, then check if you may see any difference.
