How do i scan to my email?

• What is the exact HP printer model?
• Are you using Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS?
• Are you trying to scan and send the email directly from the printer's control panel, or would you like to scan from the HP app and then send the scanned document through your email application?
• Do you already see a Scan to Email or E-mail option on the printer?

About Scan to Email
On HP printers that support direct Scan to Email, the feature normally needs to be configured before it can be used. For supported HP LaserJet Pro MFP models, the printer must be connected to a network, and setup can be completed using the available printer software or the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS). The setup can also require your email provider's SMTP server, port, and authentication information.

Once Scan to Email has been configured on a supported HP LaserJet Pro MFP, HP's documented process is:

1. Load the document on the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
2. From the printer's Home screen, select Scan, and then E-mail.
3. Sign in if prompted.
4. Enter the recipient's email address or select a saved contact.
5. Adjust the scan settings or preview the document if required.
6. Select Send or Start Scan. The scanned document is then sent as an email attachment.
