Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the scanning issue. 

 

You may try scanning using the HP Scan software or using the HP Smart app. 

 

Note - 

 

  • Maximum scan size from glass is 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14.0 inches)
  • Maximum scan size from ADF is 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14.0 inches)
