Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Scan currently unavailable Using WiFi

HP Recommended
Hp Inkjet Pro Series 9020
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Suddenly, I get a  'Scan Currently Unavailable.  Go to Home, Check WiFi connection and return to Scan".   WiFi is connected;  Will only allow me to Import or Use a Camera to photo a document.   I need to scan an actual document.  HELP!

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:

1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-9020-all-in-one-printer-...


3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
