Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I want to scan a few documents  urgently but my ink is low.

Hi @Ansar1234,

 

I'd like to help!

 

Try printing in a single cartridge mode .

 

Remove the low on ink cartridge from the printer

 

Try the reset on the printer -

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed

 

Automatically the printer should start functioning in single cartridge mode and you should be able to Scan.

 

Alternately you can scan using the Printer Software on your computer or you can download the HP Smart App from this Link: Software and drivers for HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer
