Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My scans are all askew by a couple degrees.  When copying through the Automatic Document Feeder, the hard copy is fine.  When scanning to a file, the doc is skewed.

Similar with other posts, but I don't see a "Straighten Content" checkbox anywhere for my HP 7855.

I've tried the following and still don't have the issue resolved:

- Looking for an advanced settings menu on the printer/scanner itself.

- Downloaded: Print & Scan Doctor

- Downloaded: HP Universal Scan - Full Feature Software and Driver (all 411MB of glory; just to scan)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Answers seem to be "unfortunately, you're past the warranty period - so your only recourse is to buy another printer".  So I'll close the thread and shop other brands next time I'm looking.

Hi @RickyL310,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with HP OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One wherein the scanned document is skewed.

This issue could occur if the rollers are not aligned properly or worn out.

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

And here are a few steps in the link: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

Let me know if this works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @Elohi_NR.  Appreciate the quick response, however that did not fix my issue.

The rollers seem fine - hard copies using the Automatic Document Feeder are aligned correctly, it is only the 'scan to file' images that are askew.

This other thread has a similar problem.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-Copying/OfficeJet-Pro-8725-scans-from-the-feeder-are-s...

I was able to find the similar "Straighten Content" on my HP scan utility, but that didn't resolve my issue.

Also - I have the HP 7855 ENVY (not the OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format).

Any thoughts?
