Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi. I recently started using this printer on a Windows 10 computer, Everything had worked fine on Windows 7 with the drivers I installed and scan icon, but to get scanning to work in Windows 10, I needed to install the HP Scan and Capture App.  This app is extremely slow, it's taking 1-2 minutes per page, when previously it took about 10-15 seconds to process a page and display in the scan box. How can this be sped up?

Please try HP Scan Extended using the following software


                    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi


Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10:


  (a) Hit Win key,
  (b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
  (c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"


You can put a shortcut on Taskbar or Desktop

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-200-color-mfp-m276/5097648/model/50...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

 

The HP FULL featured software also got more features than the HP Smart app.
