How can I scan multiple pages on the flatbed of my HP officejet pro 9018?

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-9010-all-in-one-printer-...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

I installed the software, but i can add more pages on the flatbed if I only use 300 ppi resolution or below. How can I add more pages on the flatbed if I use 400 ppi or above? I can easily do it on my old Epson and Brother.

Please refer to this example on how to scan above 300 dpi.  Not sure if there is a 400 dpi but certainly 600 dpi is there.

Let me state my question again because I don't think you understood me.

I understand that I can't use the ADF to scan in 600ppi. So, I want to use the flatbed to scan multiple pages in 600ppi  into one file. Is that possible? Unlike my old Epson and Brother, I can use the ADF to scan in 600ppi, so my new HP frustrates me.

That is not possible for anything above 600ppi.
