Mercy. I have done absolutely everything with this **bleep** machine. I've started from scratch multiple times, and each install gives me a new problem.

I finally wiped everything and started over, instead downloading the full software directly from the HP website and using that to install the printer.

 

The issue: our new account software saves a scan of everything on their server. It's awesome that I don't have to store anymore paper, but the printer also won't give me the option to save any kind of shortcut to scan to email these things, and it's about 9 clicks to send each individual page. I downloaded the full software so I'd have access to HP Scan, which I do now. I've set up a shortcut for it, and now the two issues I'm running into are:

 

1. There is no "save each page separately" that I can find anywhere in the software.

2. When I try to email, it's forcing it to use Outlook, and it won't let me login to the hotmail account I use for everything Microsoft, instead saying that it must be a work, school, or organization account. 

 

Does anyone know where the "save each page separately" is hiding? 

Does anyone know how to make it let me use the Mail app or just our hotmail address to send emails?

 

This has been such a trivial process. You'd think in 2022 this stuff would be plug and play!
