Welcome to the HP Community.
As you know, you cannot use a print-only printer to scan.
You can, however, use the camera on your phone to scan and then save the content.
The following does not apply (as far as I know) to MacOS.
That said, if you have manged to scan and save the content you want to print using any method,
You can use HP Smart for Mac to print that content (document).
