Samsung SCX-4826FN multifunction printer

This printer was purchased for a small business about 10 years ago and I dont believe it is supported any longer by HP (Samsung directed me to HP) however, it is in excellent condition and the only problem I have is that I can no longer figure out how to scan multiple pages into a single document. I know it is possible because I used to do it frequently but "print management" screen changed at some point after updates and I am at a total loss. I do not want to have to merge using Adobe.

Try a 3rd party software (VueScan):

VueScan offers a trial version so you can check if it works on your printer before purchasing.

Hi,

Getting some more information about your environment such as your operating system version may allow guiding you better,

 

Additionally, you may give some freeware solutions a try.

 

The HP Scan Extended might be able to detect your Samsung scanner, that worth a try:

Also, NAPS2 should allow scanning multiple files to a PDF and is a free solution too:

https://www.naps2.com/download.html

Thank you so much for the quick response. It was not necessary for me to try downloading additional software as I finally figured out that it was the file format causing the problem. This particular software defaults to jpeg and will not support multi-page single files, even when you select "add pages" or "append existing file". It is necessary to re-select PDF every single time scan as there is no option to change the default and you can not append an existing file or it will revert to jpeg.
