Hi I have just installed my new HP Smart Tank 5106 and I cannot seem to scan multiple pages.   I am unable to change the location from scanner glass to paper tray.  I hope someone can advise.  Thanks

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

This printer lacks (does not have) an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

 

You cannot scan using the printer's paper tray -- the tray is only used to feed paper for copy and printing.

 

You can scan multiple pages -- The process is slower, requires extra work, and is more tedious than using a printer that does include an ADF

HP Smart can scan one page after another.

Use the printer glass to scan, remove page, place next page on glass and add next page "Add +"

When finished, "Done" 

 

Remember to check / reorder pages if / as necessary.
