Thunderstorms messed up my printer. Downloaded and installed drivers again, and removed old. Cannot get scan to work. Tells me that Webscan is disabled, and to go to administrator settings to enable. But when I get to that, there is nothing on the page concerning Webscan. How can I enable webscan, and why is it disabled? Makes no sense. Worked perfectly before storm.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Check out this resource on how to enable Webscan:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL1obc9FDyI
Some useful info:
1.. The EWS will indicate "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled"
2. Go to the tab on "Settings" > "Security" > "Administrator Settings"
3. Enable "Webscan"
4. Go back to "Scan" and you will now be able to use Webscan on your Chromebook.
Hope that helps!

There is not a link to go to Administrator when I click on settings. This is all that is there. I cannot click on Administrator. It shows up but will not let me click on it. When I choose us/canada and English as the language and click apply, nothing happens from that point. I tried to take a picture of the page, but it apparently will not go through due to HTML error. IS there another way to attach a picture to this post?
