Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

How do I add a scan icon on my desktop after setting up/installing a HP LaserJet 1536dnf/MFP on my new Windows 11 laptop and make sure the scanning function works? From reading some to the HP Community notes, I have the impression my problem is not unique.

Not sure if that can be done, the M1536 is not fully supported in WIN11
