Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225rdn
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

In Settings - Printers & Scanners there is no scan option for LJ Pro MFP 225rdn. Apple Support said I need to get latest drivers from you. But there is no driver available for download from HP website at all. HP Easy Start says it's unable to find a driver.

Hi,

First, please restart your Mac and then ensure its latest updates are installed:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541

 

Next, download and launch HP Easy Start below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

As soon as it launches and you see the EULA agreement, click the top File menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

 

Follow the steps on screen to uninstall any existing software, then click on Setup, then press on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer.

 

Once the installation completes, check for any difference.
