Can't find anything that shows how to scan photo negatives. How do I do this on this product?

Sorry, it does NOT support to scan from films  (negatives and slides).

Isn't that what the long thin glass surface is for? Just to the left of the large glass scanning surface.

I would like to give some information regarding the small slit glass.This glass is used when scanning trough the ADF only.

Should you scan from the glass the scanner will scan the full lengh of the glass.

Hope this helps.
