Scan save location does not recognize network drive

I have a NAS drive that the scan program does not recognize.  In face it does not recognize any drive except the main "C:\" dirve for location to save files.

There might be more than one thing going on here.

Normally, you do have to "map" a NAS system so the computer can link to it.

Remember to add your NAS account login information (username and password on the NAS to access / map the account).

For the purpose of scanning, you will likely have to also set the Scan Destination directory (folder) on the NAS as Shared.

On the NAS side, add the folder into group "everyone" / "everybody" to open the read/write access.

Use of "Scan to Network Folder" using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) and profiles requires a printer that supports the feature.  Not all printers can do this.

HP Scan - part of the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software - can send your scan content to an accessible Destination folder, including one that is mapped and properly configured to accept the data (Shared).

More > Destination 

In "Save To Folder" > Click Browse

Find and select the path to the mapped drive and its "Scan Folder"
