Dear All,

After downloading the software from the HP website, my scanner no longer works efficiently.

Each time that I scan, I receive the following message after the scanner stops scanning after the first page:

"HP Scan Application Resources has Stopped Working." Then is gives a button to close program."

Could any of you experts advise of a solution please.  I heavily rely on my scanner for work and would appreciate an early response.

Thank you kindly to all.

Victor.

Hello,

Good day.

My suggestion would be to Uninstall the Full SW Solution which is currently installed. then Reboot the PC  once done make sure to Disable any Anti-Virus if installed and also Windows Firewall from Win Control Panel.

Then open the SW Package Folder, Right Click on the Setup.exe File and select the option " Run As Administrator" and continue with the installation process, once the SW is installed successfully, reboot the PC  again and test scanning from HP Scan SW.

Hello,

Kindly clear the %TEMP% folder content ..

To clear the TEMP folder..

Press Win + R,  in the command window type in %temp% and press OK button.

TEMP folder would show up.

Delete all its content.

Now try scanning. If issue still persists, then we may have to increase the Virtual Memory of the PC.
