Hi,

Im having issues downloading the HP drivers from the HP website. After i select 'download", i get a window pop up saying "corrupt file". Has anybody else have these issues?

Tested -- No issues here -- "here" is in the USA --

True -- we are likely using different HP source servers.

Some of the places to check / verify

  • If you are using public DNS, try switching to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) server(s).
  • Clear the cache / cookies on your browser
  • Try a different browser
  • Make sure you are using an account that includes administrative privilege
  • Check / clear your Winsock  / netsh settings
  • The "tried and true"  >> Restart everything, including the router that controls your network

netsh and other commands

 

Windows Start > Search for cmd > Right-Click on Command Prompt app > Run as Administrator

Click through the User Account Control (Yes)

 

Issue the following commands

ipconfig /flushdns

nbtstat -R

nbtstat -RR

netsh int reset resetlog.txt

netsh int ip reset

netsh winsock reset

 

Exit > Return to close the cmd window > Restart the computer and log in
