As of 4/5/25, for the third time in a year, likely because of a faulty firmware update, the Scan to Dropbox, to Email or other web based service does not work. This time won't work either through the printer menu or through the HPSmart app directing it to send from a printer scan. The scan goes along fine but HP Smart gives error message "There was a problem with your shortcut. Please try again later." Later means never. What is wrong with HP in that this issue has happened now with each firmware update. And NO, it is NOT my internet connectivity which is fine!!

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Restart Web Services on the Printer
Go to Settings > Web Services > Remove Web Services
Then re-enable them to get a new printer code and re-register with HP.
Sign Out and Back into HP Smart
Sign out of the HP Smart app and sign back in.
Re-add the printer and recreate the shortcut.
