HP Officejet Pro 8020
Scan to email worked fine... even in the last 8 hours.
Now I get the following when pressing the scan to email button:
Error
There was an internal processing error.
Please retry or manually check the firmware updates.
I have done a power down/reboot.
I have dowloaded the HP Print and Scan Dr application and run that to update firmware.
It worked once following the update but then went back to the error above.
Still not working.

Yes, the front panel scan function is flaky/unreliable at best.
The only solution that I have found that works is driving all scanning activity from a separate PC using the HP scan app... but that is not why I paid $$$ for a nice display on my printer ! There is still a major reliability problem that HP must be aware of...
