Scan to Email set up

Does anyone know how to set up the Scan to Email function on the HP Envy 7602 Tank printer.  I have been on the phone with both HP Support and The Geek Squad for hours (over a 2-day period) trying to set this up and no one can help me.  They seem to think I have to scan the documents to my computer and the send them forward via email.  I know I can do that.  What I want is to be able to scan a document and send it to directly to an email from the printer.  It is my understanding that this is a feature of this printer.  It is odd that tech support at both entities cannot seem to understand how to do this or what I am asking.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Connect Printer to Wi-Fi:

Make sure your printer is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi.

Enable Web Services:

On the printer, go to Setup (gear icon).

Look for Web Services or HP ePrint and turn it ON.

Follow the prompts to register your printer if needed.

Set Up Scan to Email:

On the printer’s home screen, go to Scan.

Choose Scan to Email.

Add your email address and password.

Scan & Send Directly:

Load the document in the printer.

Go to Scan, choose Scan to Email, and enter the email address.

Hit Send.
