Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I made some kind of change to the "Scan to Email" settings and now I can't send my scans to email. I'm pretty sure the problem is happening in one of these settings (current values listed in parentheses):

 

* SMTP Server:  (smtp.**bleep**.com)

* SMTP Port: (465)

* "Always use secure connection" (checkbox is ON)

* "Validate server certificate" (checkbox is ON)

* Max Size of Email (Unlimited)

* Server Authentication: (selected "Server requires authentication"; entered my User Name like so firstname.lastname@**bleep**.com)

 

Any suggestions? 

ps, I've looked in my **bleep** settings and am unable to find some of the older settings suggested in old HP help posts and really don't want to turn off 2FA for my Google account.
