Hello 

I have been using the scan to e-mail for sometime I could click the dowload arrow and it would go to the taskbar and I could open and save, move to desktop and attach to the e-mail I wanted to send it to. 

But now it has changed it scans to the e-mail but the file is now called HP scan and when I click the download arrow it goes to the task bar and if I click open it will not open, it says no app to open. 

So the name of the files sent to e-mail has changed to HP SCAN ( I do not know why) and now cant open. 

I would like it to work like it always has. 

Please help, much appreciated.

I figured it out.  The scanner was not set as the default scanner. There is a hp series net and hp series envy as soon as I went to properties and set the default, that was the pro blem.
