Scan to Network Folder Problems

HP Recommended
HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525

Hello,

 

I am having some issues configuring the Scan to Network Folder Settings.

 

It is intermittently giving me the error:

 

"The operation failed. Please verify your configuration and try again."

 

When I am in the "Edit Network Folder Path" section and selecting "Verify Access".

 

The folder path definitely exists and have check the correct permissions have applied.  I have also tried using the IP address instead of the hostname.

 

The config works.  Its works for a short while, then decides to stop working.

 

 

I have tried upgrading the firmware to the latest version:

 

HP FutureSmart Level 3

Bundle Version: 3.5

Firmware Revision: 2305076_518487

Firmware Date Code: 20150403

 

Any ideas?

+1 (HP Color LaserJet CM4540)

 

I realize that it's been two years since this was posted, but I was hoping that maybe a resolution has been found.

 

I performed every one of the troubleshooting steps you did, but am still having problems. We replaced the transfer kit and fuser kit and since then have had nothing but trouble reconfiguring it. It works one day and the next it does not. I removed and replaced network permissions - still not connecting to share.

 

Firmware Bundle Version: 3.8

Firmware Revision: 2308209_000572

Firmware Date Code: 20160820

HP FutureSmart 3 (started at 2 - bumped to 3 as a troubleshooting step)

I have exactly the same issue with a Laserjet M630f. Have you had any response at all?

Also upgrade my firmware (3.9 now) - sometimes it works fine for months - at the moment I can't get it working.

I have had this same problem. 

I ended up updating the firmware and that seemed to solve the problem.
