I have been trying to set up Scan to Network Folder on my Mac computer for two days without success.
I have used the HP Utility Wizard. I have enabled SMB file sharing and have created a shared folder with read/write priveledges.
I went to EWS and started a new Network Folder
Display Name: I entered the shared folder HP ScanToFolder
Network Path: \\Buster McGraws-iMac.local\HP ScanToFolder (folder is in root drive)
User Name: Buster McGraw
Password:xxxxxx
When I test I get the error message:
Cannot find the remote server. Check server name
I have tried to read through the posts but cannot seem to find a fix that works for me. Can someone help me get this setup correctly.

Can you please verify the computer name?
I do not believe you should have a space in teh computer name.
"Buster McGraws-iMac.local"
The macOS should have changed it to buster-mcgraws-imac.local.
You can see this in the Sharing Preferences after you turn on SMB file sharing.

I have corrected it to read \\Buster-McGraws-iMac.local\HP ScanToFolder however I am still getting the same error message

Sorry for the duplicate post, for some reason it posted twice.
I also wanted to add that I have updated the firmware to the 0219 update.

OK. Thats great. After the correction it now matches what is in the share preferences? if so, are you getting the same Unable to loacte server error? That is basically telling us that the printer is unable to find your Mac to even try to connect to the shared folder.
If it is still giving the server error then we can try to connect via the IP address. In the Embedded Web Server replace the computer name with the IP Address of the Macintosh. On small or unmanaged networks this is sometimes the easiest way to get it to work. You can find the Mac IP address in the Networking System Preferences.
