My Scan to a Network Folder works fine when the folder is on a Windows 7 PC.

 

I am trying to scan to a folder on a Windows 11 PC with a local account only. I keep getting the message "The test was unsuccessful. Try again."

I have confirmed the shared folder exists, I can access it from other PC.

 

Suggestions?

Hi,

Do you have a password protection for your account or not?

 

Can you see Password Protection Sharing turned on or off?

 

Right-click the folder and open the Sharing tab, there in the bottom you would see the Password Protected Sharing information, for my experience this would be the most frequent cause to such an error.
