Hi, I have a new LJ M477. I set up 4 scan addresses on my Qnap NAS and it was all working fine until I updated my NAS and Router firmware a few days ago. I get the error "test was unsuccessful. Try again"
I can ping the DNS of both the NAS and the M477 successfully. I can scan using the HP utility from PC. SMB 1-3 are active on the Qnap NAS. I can see & access the network drives fine from my PC's and tablets. I have tried deleting all the entries on printer and redoing. I have reset the printer. I've rebooted router, NAS etc. I can access printer EWS fine and do the setup of the scan to Network entries OK. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?

In the authentication settings, I have found that in some cases you need to enter the user name as domain\username.

New units often ship with outdated firmware. Current date code should be 20190113.

Well done. This fixed my issue. While previously I could get to the shared network drive without the need for credentials the latest update seems now to be enforcing the need. I entered the domain/user name and password and away it went.
